Billy Graham was born in Charlotte, N.C. in 1918, and grew up just outside of the city on a nearby dairy farm. Though he traveled all over the world for much of his life, North Carolina has always been home to him. We will spend the day learning about North Carolina’s Favorite Son and his hometown of Charlotte. We'll begin at the Billy Graham Library where you will discover how a humble farmer’s son became pastor to presidents and shared God’s love with millions of people around the world. Join us as we retrace his dynamic journey as history comes to life through inspiring multimedia presentations and state-of-the-art exhibits. Enjoy lunch in the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar and do some shopping in Ruth’s Attic bookstore.
