Jump on the bus to witness this marvelous production and learn about the life of Queen Esther.
Queen Esther comes from the Old Testament and is a tale of transformation, faith, and wonderment that all ages will be able to enjoy and relate to. You will be transported to a setting of the Persian Empire where Esther's ordinary life is upturned once she is taken to the palace to live her new life of royalty. It's not without risk though - the Persian Empire is beautiful yet dangerous. Watch as Esther, faces trials she never would have imagined for herself, and trusts in God to bring her to her destiny and see her through the struggles.
When Esther is chosen to be a candidate as the Queen of Persian Empire, she must leave behind her ordinary life and adapt to the dangers of palace life, which comes wrought with betrayal, risk, and decadence. Safeguarding her secret from the 'Snake in the Garden', Haman, and the others in the palace, Esther must learn to trust in God's great plan and realize that He has orchestrated every moment in her life and given it purpose within His own determinations.
The show features all of the amazing effects, live animals, and astounding stage settings that Sight and Sound is so famous for. It also features talented live actors, original music scores, brilliant costumes, and a moving script that will inspire all who attend the show.
Sight and Sound is known for the usage of live animals in all of their productions. This exciting element brings tons of action, adventure, and fun to the stage. All of the animals are taken care of onsite and have master handlers available. They are well-trained and give a fascinating dash of extra action to each performance. Guests will see animals like horses, camels, and even an elephant!
Spring Praisefest at Branson
Praisefest Encore is a 3 day, 4 session event with evening sessions beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday Evenings. Morning sessions begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and will conclude by 1:00 PM. Experience 4 sessions on our tour!
